Self-Defense - The goal of this class it to teach technical proficiency in all of the skills for mixed martial arts with self-defense in mind. Students learn stance & footwork for balance in attacking, defending, distance control and evasion. This class also teaches body mechanics for punches, blocks, parries, kicks, knees, elbows, takedowns and takedown defense with maximum efficiency for power and energy expenditure. Students also learn ground defense to submit or get back to the feet.
Exercise — Using mixed martial arts training methods to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility. A strong body and good cardiovascular condition are pre-requisites for effective self-defense skills. Flexibility is essential for injury prevention and longevity.

Class Times: Monday & Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm
Skill Levels: Beginner to Advanced. Instruction is adapted to accommodate all skill levels and abilities.
